What's ETF?



An Exchange Traded Fund (ETF) is a fund designed for its yield to be linked with the movement of a certain index or asset price, which is listed on an exchange and traded (circulated) like stock. Having stock-like characteristics, ETFs provide trading convenience, which is an advantage of individual stock, and diversified investment and low transaction cost, which are characteristics of index funds. In addition, ETFs are very transparent.
